Amaryllis in wax
Amaryllis bulbs in wax. Care
Amaryllis in wax requires almost no care: bright, indirect light and room temperature (18-24°C), free from drafts. Do not water. The wax contains everything necessary for flowering, so watering is not necessary. The main thing is to place it in a bright spot and enjoy the process. You will simply watch the flower stalk develop and bloom luxuriantly for 3-6 weeks. After flowering, the bulb can be discarded or carefully peeled of the wax and replanted in soil.
Care during flowering:
Location: Bright but diffused light, free from drafts. East/west-facing windowsills are ideal. Keep away from radiators and heaters.
Temperature: 18-24°C.
Watering: Not required! Wax contains a reserve of moisture and nutrients.
Humidity: You can lightly spray the air around the plant, but not the wax itself, if the air is very dry.
